Urubu River Kayak Tour

The Urubu river is a bio-diverse tributary of the Amazon river famous for its waterfalls. With EcoForest’s Kayaking package, you will experience this beautiful landscape up close as we kayak down the river. Approximately two hours into the forest, we will meet members of a local community and learn about their way of life. You will then have the opportunity to relax in hammocks while a traditional meal is prepared for you. After our visit with the locals, we continue by foot into the rainforest to a hidden waterfall. During this two-hour hike, your expert guide will teach you about the medicinal lore of the plant life in the forest. After our hike, we will return via motor boat and come back to Manaus.
